Thomas Letsch 's men found themselves two down at half time thanks to strikes from Sydney Van Hooijdonk and Amin Sarr before van Hooijdonk added two more goals in the second period to put the result beyond doubt. Consequently, Geel en Zwart currently sit bottom of the Eredivisie table with no points on the board and a goal difference of -9 after the first three matches. Awaiting them next is the challenge of an opposing side who have won just one of the last seven meetings between the teams dating back to 2014. However, that solitary victory did come in the most recent edition of the fixture back in March when Saturday's hosts fell to a 2-1 defeat. Melle Meulensteen was on target in the last meeting between Saturday's opponents but the 23-year-old is set to welcome his former teammates after moving to Vitesse in the summer.
