Football Manager 2023: Release date and women’s teams leak
Developer Sports Interactive has finally confirmed Football Manager 2023’s release date and it’s much closer than you think. The Football Manager series, as we know it, first hit the screens in 2005 making the game almost two decades old. Since then, it has become one of the most popular football management games, emulating the tactical styles of various football clubs around the world.
So, if you feel like brushing up your management skills and becoming the next José Mourinho, you won’t have to wait any longer than November 8, as the game’s now locked in for the end of the year. The release date that Sports Interactive chose isn’t that surprising as Football Manager 2022 also launched around the same time in 2021. The 2022 version of the game introduced a variety of new features including the Data Hub which gives you info about match momentum and even pass maps.
You even get the ability to request a data analyst to compile specific pieces of information, like many football managers often do. Though Sports Interactive has been very hush hush about any gameplay details for Football Manager 2023, there might be some major changes coming its way. According to the latest leaks, when scouting players, you will now get a fleshed-out report of their characteristics to see who fits your team dynamic better.
The leak also suggested that verbal transfer agreements will also become a thing in the game. 👀 pic. twitter.
com/cBujcqsUVd The biggest reveal was Football Manager 2023, finally featuring women’s football teams which will require a separate launcher. With women’s football gaining a lot of attention this year when the Lionesses won the FIFA World Cup, it only makes sense for developer Sports Interactive to include women’s team in the game. The leaker also said that an international-only mode for women’s football was showcased in the dev copy of the game.
